Karen manages the accounts department, supervising members of the team, and likes meeting and working with clients. She enjoys reading and swims at least 2 miles a week.
Emily Hunt - ACCA
Senior Accountant - currently on maternity leave
Emily prepares accounts and carries out audits. She is an accident-prone vegetarian who has finally had to give up horse riding after breaking too many bones! Emily’s husband is in the army, she is very involved in supporting the military community.
Catherine Packwood-Bluett - ATT; MAAT
Tax Advisor
Catherine works mainly with Ian and Karen providing tax support to clients on a range of personal and business tax matters. She finds helping clients demystify the processes particularly rewarding.
Michael Wotton - ATT Finalist
Tax Advisor
Michael works mainly with Hugh providing tax services to both business and personal clients. He shares the middle floor with Catherine and the accounts team - this is where most of the work gets done!
Gemma Thomas - ACCA
Senior accountant
Gemma works in the accounts department with Karen, Emily and Natasha. She also provides advice and support to Xero clients. Apart from liking steam trains, animals, and drinking tea (not necessarily in that order) she supports the Welsh rugby team.
Natasha Richardson
Trainee Accountant
Natasha has joined the team as a trainee accountant and works with Karen and Emily preparing accounts. Apart from getting her ACCA qualification one of Natasha's ambitions is to travel around Italy - and she would love to learn Italian.
Paul Cannell
Trainee Accountant
Paul works in the accounts department as a trainee accountant and is studying to become a qualified accountant. Paul is keen to keep healthy and spends a couple of evenings a week after work at Five Rivers gym.
Ellen Morgan-Reed
Management accounts & Xero
Ellen’s work involves preparing management accounts on Sage and Xero and assisting client with bookkeeping, amongst other things. Apart from enjoying life with her busy young family Ellen's secret ambition is to take up figure skating again!
Marie Buckland
Secretary/Receptionist
As the full time secretary and receptionist Marie is usually first point of contact for clients and deals with client administration. She is a music fan, favourite band The Eagles.
