How do I set up a limited company?
This is a relatively straightforward process. Once you have decided this is what you want to do you need to determine the following:
 Company name - make sure it has not already been used and is acceptable
Shareholders - this determines the ownership of the company
. Director(s) - at least one director must be appointed
Company secretary - a different person must be appointed to this role (once Companies Act 2006 is enacted this will no longer be a requirement
Registered office - an address where official documents will be served In rare cases additional information may be required, but with the above a company can be incorporated, usually within a few days. |
