What should a business plan include?

As a start up business the creation of a business plan will help you focus on how you will need to operate your business for the best hope for success.

The plan should include:
An executive summary - giving an overview of the business and the key points from the entire plan
A short description of the business opportunity - a vision of your business, a more detailed description of the who, what, where, why and to whom
Your marketing and sales strategy - why you think people will buy from you and how you plan to sell to them
Your management team and personnel - your credentials and anyone who works for you or you plan to recruit
. Your operations - where you operate from, how you operate and the management systems
Financial forecasts - where you translate everything you have said into numbers

As your Accountants we can particularly help you with this last point.

Once it is prepared use it, update it regularly and refer to it, as it will help you stay on track.
