Salisbury Playhouse

London Marathon

Ian Sheekey, partner at Hugh Davies & Co, has previously been involved in long distance running in aid of charities.

 When Ian ran the London Marathon he raised over £1,500 for Round Table Children’s Wish – making wishes come true for children with life threatening illnesses.

For those who are interested Ian completed the marathon in a time of 4 hours 43 minutes and 20 seconds.

It had been a long time ambition of Ian’s to run a marathon. Realising how lucky he is to have four healthy children himself he wants to help those who are not as fortunate.

Bootleg Theatre

Bootleg Theatre is a hard-hitting, new writing theatre company based in Salisbury. Under Colin Burden's direction they help new writers and actors starting out in their careers to find an audience for genuinely innovative (and often funny!) theatre. We are proud to be the principal sponsor of Bootleg.

Hugh Davies & Co is a regular participating venue in the biennial Salisbury Arts Trail which showcases the work of talented local professional artists

Hugh is a Director on the board of two social enterprise CICs (Community Interest Companies). These are not-for-profit companies, set up for social benefit not financial benefit.

and Honorary Treasurer and active member of Salisbury branch FSB (not the Russian counter intelligence and surveillance service formerly known as the KGB, but the Federation of Small Businesses, protecting, promoting and furthering the interests of the self-employed and small business sector.)
